All contributions to the Trust are tax deductible and will be acknowledged.  In addition, contributors who donate at least $25 receive a reproduction Civil War Union or Confederate Army Officer's Commission and related documents; all of which are suitable for framing.

Contributions may be made via check or money order payable to: ACWCT, 32 Cassin Hill Rd., Garnet Valley, PA 19060-1321 or through PayPal (www.paypal.com to email: acwct@yahoo.com). Don't have a PayPal account?  Paypal will accept payments by Credit Card without establishing an account.

Once a donation is made, you will be contacted to obtain the name you wish to see appear on the documents, and to determine if it is a Federal or Confederate commission, the officer's rank, date of enlistment, branch of service, Civil War Regiment, and where you - or the individual listed - was mustered into service.

While original Union Army Officer commission documents measured 16 1/4" x 18 1/2", the one shown here is smaller than its actual size of 11" x 17". Union Officer's documents include the Commission, an Oath of Office, and a notification from the War Department of your Presidential appointment.  Since Confederate Officer's commissions followed no set pattern, the one included here is representative of the Commission issued to Major Lafayette McLaws on March 3, 1861.  Also included is a Loyalty Oath and Amnesty papers allowing you back into the Union after the War!  All documents can be customized for a man or women and carry a date between 1861-1865 or your current date of choice.  To the extent possible, all documents are continually updated to maintain historical accuracy and may vary from those shown here.
